Una fuerza elegante pero poderosa en el podio, la directora argentino-italiana Michelle Di Russo es conocida por sus interpretaciones convincentes, musicalidad apasionada y defensa de la música contemporánea. Actualmente se desempeña como directora asociada en su segunda temporada con NorCon la Sinfónica de Carolina, Di Russo hará su debut con la Sinfónica de Portland (ME) y la Sinfónica de Vermont esta temporada. Otros compromisos incluyen versiones para la Sinfónica de St. Louis, la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional y la Orquesta de Minnesota. Ella es una ex becaria de dirección de Chicago Sinfonietta's Project Inclusion program, The Dallas Opera Hart Institute, además de recibir el premio Richard S.Weinert del Concert Artists Guild.
